Moore Eco Trails Booklet – Moora Shire joint WDC and Lotterywest project
Project Activities:
- Design and produce an eco trail booklet. Will detail walk trails in Moora, Koojan, Jingemia Cave and other reserves in the Shire. Will include flora ID and Aboriginal heritage information;
- Publish 10,000 copies and distribute to tourism outlets in Moora – Shire office, CRC, Caravan Park, Hotels, eateries;
- Promote booklet in partnership with Shire of Moora and Moora CRC including launch event;
- Plan walk trail upgrade to Jingemia Cave in partnership with Dept of Parks & Wildlife (DPAW). To extend current walk trail at cave and install history/heritage and flora/fauna signage;
- Create a trigger to apply for Lotterywest/Dept of Sport & Recreation funds to fund upgrade of Jingemia Cave upgrade
