Summary of project
This project will support 8 Moore catchment landholders to protect & restore 146ha of farmland at 10 locations which will result in extending the Critically Endangered WA Eucalypt Woodland Threatened Ecological Community (TEC) & Swan Banksia Woodland TEC, and creating habitat for endangered Carnaby’s Black Cockatoo.
Moore Catchment Council will engage with community, local school children, and Yued Aboriginal community by offering hands-on interesting NRM activities including native planting days, Working on Country opportunities, new drought mitigation resources and workshops, online video films, school insect workshops, fun Moore ecology bingos, and The Last Stand environmental awareness events.
